Day 3 FNNYCF&WF




Oh my gosh another day of eating. Both of us are suffering from food over stimulation. Today we are going to not eat till our Brunch even Dim Sum and Disco hosted by Ming Tsai and Joe Ng at the China Grill http://www.nycwineandfoodfestival.com/2010/event_detail.php?id=86. This is one of the few events that was not sold out too bad for those who did not come because this was a fantastic event featuring several Top chefs including Susur Lee. Some of the 16 courses included Hot and Sour Soup with Lobster, Steam Lamb Dumpling with Black Pepper Sauce, Pork Soup Dumpling, Shrimp and Watercress and Applewood Bacon Shumai, Yuliguni Maitake--Foie Gras Shumai with 3 Vinegar Emulsion and my favorite Lamb Spareribs glazed in Plum and Sesame. We sat at a table with Ming Tsai's agent from IMG and his family, 2 ladies from New Jersey Ellen and Jane and two young ladies who were law school friends. Way too much good food, we needed to walk at least 4 blocks to walk all this food off. Needless to say it was the one and only meal of the day
