New York Food Network Food and Wine Weekend

This weekend was the Olympics of Food and Eating, My wife hosted me to the Third Annual Food Network New York City Food and Wine Festival for my birthday . We got to New York on Thursday night for what turned out to be one of the greatest food and wine festivals. If you like food you should treat yourself to this event at least once. Depending on how you look at the weekend we either only went to two restaurants or had the opportunity to meet and test the cuisine of 50 chefs. When we travel we like to take advantage of Kimpton Hotels on this trip we stayed at 2 the 70 Park and the Eventi . 70 Park is a traditional New York Hotel while the Eventi is the new hip place to stay. We went for 4 days in this posting I am going to walk you through each day's events. A couple of highlights of the trip, the weather for the first weekend of October was the best we could have possibly hoped for, I had my first flying experience on Jet Blue and it is possibly the best airline I have ever flown on and we had a great opportunity to meet the folks we see every week on the Food Network.
