I was watching Diners, Drive Ins and Dives and came across
Naglee Park Garage in San Jose is literally a converted garage a block away from San Jose State University. When we got there we got in line in front of the front bay of the garage. Inside was a small kitchen a few seats and a 8 seat bar. In the back there was an Oktoberfest like garden with picnic benches for folks to enjoy a beer and their meal. We ordered the Pork Ragu on Paperdelle, the Halibut Cakes and the following sides, Mac and Cheese, Brussel Sprouts, Sweet Potato Fries and a Summer Salad. We took our meal to go which was a mistake. The food needs to be eaten there and enjoyed. Even though the tastes were great half the fun of eating here is being there and enjoying the ambiance. It is a definite redo.
